Back Again .... late afternoon

Hello. It is still Thursday, afternoon, the sky remains blue, so no rain or snow or anything today...just blue sky, lots of puffy white clouds and a quiet day without a lot of traffic. Inside quiet too. Had lunch with the folks upstairs, played a little on the puzzle and came down to find my daughter Patricia filling candy dishes, putting 'stuff' away in my cupboards and seeing that I stay fat and sassy. How lucky I am...I have so many blessings to count. We had been told that weather was moving in and it might be a little snow, but Mother Nature changed her mind and all we have is a clear cold day with huge puffy grey clouds up in our sky. There is little traffic outside today, only a few cars, wonder why...haven't heard any news of any kind that would tell us anything. I have black jelly beans...do you remember what they taste like...um..yum. I do...smile. So, I am keeping busy, doing some goofing off and thinking about some of the things I could do ..but....not today...ha, ha. I am off to do a lot of nothing.....ha...ha. Snow!!!

Good morning!!! There is snow on the ground, dark out my window, and my coffee cup is empty....so....you know what I will be doing...smile. AAH!!! Coffee, coffee, yum.....hot and delicious. The snow looks pretty on the bushes across the way, the roof top is white and the bird is on the edge. Only two parked cars out there right now, it is early...no breeze at all, nothing is stirring. A lavender sky, tree tops look hazy, like a foggy mist, and the worker cars have snow on the roof tops.a new Thursday and after all my fun and good time, it is time to settle in and some catch up things done like laundry and dusting and those chores that never get done by themselves. . All the spaces are filled and the workers busy with a new day. So I will love you and leave you as I go off to get a refill of my coffee, watch the news, wake up and get busy with those mundane chores that never get done by themselves. I hope your day is going to be special...like you. I hope you have some fun things to do after the chores....well they don't get done by themselves. Wouldn't that be nice, just push a button and all is done....dream on. So, go have yourself a fun day doing what you want to do....I am admiring the trees, so beautiful covered in snow. Silence!!!! Tuesday morning!!

Hello!!! I am dressed to go out the door but no one is ready to join me..smile. The girls are getting ready but have a way to go. The worker cars are parked on my side this morning and there is a small sport type car in front of my window, black top, white body, seems low, well maybe that is because there is a huge black truck like car beside it The sun is out so the frost should go soon. It is quiet, trees are not moving. The bird is waiting patiently for its day to begin. As for me, I have been up for hours, dressed ready to go as we are going to the casino today for the floats and voting....for out entry...smile. I think I will go have another coffee break....watch some news......feet up.....who knows I might even nod off for a few more z's. Nah, wide awake, ready to go out the door, um....how come I am ready and no one else is....ha.ha....bad habits stay. So...I have no new news. The worker cars are parked in front of my window and the little sport car is right in front where I an see in the window..but it is black inside so there is nothing for me to see. The trees are still and they have different shapes to study. They have a way to go before they share their beauty. I hope you find fun things to do today. Be good, be kind, be loving, be YOU!!! Now It's Monday Morning...my little calendar says so!!!

Good morning. The sky is a very light blue this morning, stillness, not a leaf stirring. The worker cars are all parked for the day and there is a bit of frost on the roof tops. There is a small pile of snow still on the ground over by the hospital building, seems to want to remain there forever. No breeze this morning so every bush and tree top is still. I finished my first cup of coffee so I am off for a refill....be right back!! AAH!!!! That first cup of coffee is always so good, reminds me of Pa and the open pot kind he used to make, would make your hair stand up still. I have black birds flying bye my window, two of them are playing a game, nope, five , no seven of them...wow. wonder what the attraction is. One bird must have dropped something to eat on the fence as there is one bird out there pecking away. A new week beginning, wonder what is in store for us. When I find out, I'll be sure to share...ha.ha. So, off I go to open the other eye. The television is blaring, ads of course.... I hope your day is special, just like YOU!!! Sunday Morning Early

Good Morning. The bird is on the roof top, the sky is clear and very light blue; the worker cars are parked on my side this morning and the blinds are still down over there in the hospital wing. Quiet....Silence....Stillness...a new day begins. I am becoming more aware that my mind is changing, with age comes a slowing down of all of our faculties and it doesn't take a huge brain to know that new changes are in effect on a daily basis. Not sure this getting older is going to be palatable, but it is all we have to work with so we might as well make good use of it. Isn't it strange that the beginning and ending of our lives is so similar. Well as long as we are up, moving, doing, we can fill our days with love, laughter and a few escapades. I had time out with my girls yesterday and that is always fun. Eating out is a treat and we have a special restaurant in town that we visit often as the food is good and the folks there like to see us coming in. I would say the prices are reasonable and the food itself is always delicious. A favorite spot when we want to eat out. Fish an Chips....ha.ha...what else??? Well right now it is quiet...silence....nothing moving outside, even the trees are still and the little bird hasn't moved and a huge bird is next to it, probably momma watching out for her baby. My coffee cup is empty so I am off for a refill and to finish this blog. It is Sunday so no hurry, no fuss, no bother...relax and enjoy a quiet morning and think about what to do with the daylight hours. Off for a refill, turn on the television and put my feet up on the hassock; hunker down for awhile longer and relax and enjoy the quiet of early morning. I hope your day is a good one and you get to do exactly what you want to do. It is Sunday all day so it is a day of rest...or should be....but there is no rest for the wicked, ha.ha. ... go.....have some fun....do what you really want to do today, not some of the have to, leave that for another day...Sunday is a day of rest....for fun...for some outdoor activity...a walk in the park.....an hour or so in a junker shop looking for treasures...ha,ha. the illusive kind we never find but have fun looking. There is always a book to find for the bookcase and the hope you will find tie to read it...eventually....ha..ha...I think I have four or five waiting. Now It is Saturday Morning!!

Good Morning. The sky is pale blue, trees are still, not a hint of a breeze. The hospital roof top is frosty and there is a bird sitting on the eave watching the world go bye. The worker cars are parked under my window today and I wonder who decides which side they are to park on. There are no signs so there must be rules posted somewhere. Silence....outside....inside the television is on but I am not watching it. A new car just went out of the parking lot, a cranberry shade, really nice....classy!! I have reached the age where remembering doesn't seem all that important to me as there is someone who will knock on the door and rescue me...ha.ha. Hiding out is not allowed...smile. My little desk calendar reminds me it is Saturday so I can relax as I have no plans for the day and will wait patiently for something to develop. Maybe I will get an invitation out and I'll have something to tell you about; well we can hope....smile!! It is Friday morning!!!

Hello. A new day starting and it is a bit cloudy up in the sky along with a bit of pink and grey. The sun is hitting the edge of a cloud and it is so beautiful. The trees are still so no breeze this morning and the bird is on the roof top looking out at its world; cars are parked on my side but you really cannot see inside as it is black. The trees and bushes are still so no wind and our new day is about to start. My coffee cup is empty so I am heading for a refill, feet up, tv news on and open the other eye...smile. I hope you are up, feeling g r e a t and ready for a new day. There is a tiny new roadster driving by, really cute, looks brand new. The other cars are all parked , the hospital wing shades are down and silence prevails. I am off for a refill, feet up, news on and will eventually get dressed and find something to do with my day. No rush, no fuss, aah...coffee....feet up...what is to complain about....wait a minute and I'll find something..ha.ha. Have yourself a good day all day doing what you want to do. Get the 'have to' out of the way and then relax and enjoy the rest of your day.
