Good Morning!!

Tuesday and it is starting off quiet, blinds down in the hospital wing, worker cars parked, and I see a new beige truck, a small pickup, good looking and I bet it gives a nice ride, it just looks like it should...shiny, new and ready to roll...smile!!

The Fall colors are showing up, more every day, and this morning there is a bit of wind in the tree tops and the movement is slow and graceful.   The little black bird is on the roof top across the way.  It seems content and has been there for some time.  Quiet...a deep silence at the moment,but that wont last long as the workers find there way in and park for the day.   I wonder what is in store for each and everyone of us.   A good day, I hope, one for the memory banks.

My coffee cup is empty.   I have not had anything for a breakfast and I doubt there is much of anything  I want in the refrigerator....bread for toast...better than nothing..but...if I had my druthers I would be looking for a big fat jelly doughnut, the one with all the calories...the powdered kind, the one that squirts jelly on the first bite...ha.ha...well, I don't want to eat a day old one...but...that will do if there was any out there....and there is not.....wishful thinking!!!  A girlish figure or a jelly doughnut.....easy choice....how can you tell???  Ah, the new senior size pantaloons....ha.ha....well, we do have choices and you already know mine.  So today is going to be a G O O D one, full of smiles and hard work and satisfaction.    I am off for a refill.  I am off to make up a poem, there is something about the quietness of morning, the stillness, the size and shape of the trees, the colors that bring out the poetess in me.   So have yourself a 'good' day all day and do what YOU love to do best. 

New Week, New beginnings

Good Morning!!!   It is Monday, all day, a new beginning, a new week to fill with love and laughter, a bit of work and a lot of good deeds to accomplish before the week is over and done.   Monday morning with sunlight on the trees which are sprouting Fall colors, golds and bronze and yellows and the usual variety of shades of green;  how lucky we are to be able to look out of our window and see the beginning of a new season.   The little bird is on the roof top, alone at the moment, tree tops are still and really beautiful as the sunlight rests on the russet colors;  yep!!!  Fall is here bright and beautiful.  The worker cars are parked, only one white one amidst one red or maroon shade and a few dark blue or black parked out there this morning.  Spaces open for more to come.  A new beginning, a new week, a new Monday all day...um...wonder what it has in store for us....we are about to find out...smile!!

So with all the familiar words, you realize that a new week begins, a new season to be enjoyed and hopefully some fun and games along the way.  Be a good neighbor.  Be a good worker.  Be good at whatever it is you do...a smile, a hug and a lot of love goes a long way in making this week the best one yet.  So....be YOU and share love and laughter;  a few tears if you must;   but.....be YOU!!  Hugs to all.

Saturday All Day!!!

I am hoping for rainbows today!!

I would love to be walking bye the old barn up there in the mountains of Nevada.

Instead, I will be tuned in to the cowboy movies, hunkered down in my easy chair, feet up on the hassock, hot coffee on hand and hopefully there is something good in the cupboard to go with it.  I don't think so, but I do live in high hope....you know the ending..'die in despair'.....there is no fancy doughnut out there in my kitchen, but I bet I can come up with a piece of toast....beggars can be choosers....ha.ha.!!!!

I am off for a refill, finish the blog, check the parked cars and drool over the new silver ones in the lot this morning.  My little bird is on the roof top watching its world go bye.  The trees are still, a few blinds open in the hospital wing and silence....a good way to start a Saturday!!!

I hope your day is bright and beautiful, just like you.   I am hoping for an invite out the door later in the day, but it is Saturday and the cowboy movies are on and I do have some hot coffee waiting but  as I have said out loud......'there is nothing good in this house'   . . . ha, ha...have I said that before?   I bet I have.

Go with God.....be a friend today....do some good deeds...and...light a candle when you go bye the church of your choice.    I don't mind if you light one for me...I probably need it.....something has to keep me up and running...ha, ha....and you are just the one to keep me company.

Friday, all day!!!

 I hope you are in good hands today, enjoying life, smelling the flowers, chasing the weeds away and finding reasons to be glad you are alive and well.

There is nothing better than a good hot cup of coffee (tea or cocoa) to make your morning bright and beautiful;  enjoy today...all day.

Good morning!!!   I am awake, have been sitting here at the computer for an hour or so, looking at a little bird on the roof top across the way.  It has been sitting there quietly for a long while, watching the worker cars roll in....probably wishing for a treat.It is quiet, nothing on the move at the minute.  The Fall colors are really showing this morning, one bush is alive with color, and another with a tiny pink blossom.  The blinds are open in one window of the hospital wing but all the rest are closed tight.  It is early and it is Friday all day...smile.  A new deep red car went bye;   someone is showing off a new buy...smile!!!  The folks must make good salaries as there is not a junker in the lot.  A few folks seem to favor black but there are two white cars out there.  One is more vanilla ...has a bit of yellow in the base paint.  I see one bush of blue flowers, big and full and very pretty.   Quiet...silence....I get to 'hear' it every morning.

I wish you a good day, all day, doing what you love to do best.    I got to help my daughter, Christine, with a project and have high hopes she has more to follow.   Keeping busy is good.  But....having some down time to read and catch up with oneself isn't all bad.   What I'd like to do is be out and about, maybe a drive to a 'fancy' MacDonald's down the road...smile.   A cheeseburger for lunch, haven't had one of those in a very long time.   But....I am going to make my bed, get dressed and watch a bit of news, then...it will be time to go up and join the folks for lunch and maybe a bit of the puzzle.  I don't think it got finished yet.  I didn't get to see it yesterday.    I am sure there was quite a few more pieces to fit in and it is not what one would call an 'easy' puzzle to do.  Hard is better, more of a challenge.  Ha, ha,ha,  I am seeing a lady worker walk in complete with high heels and jeans....a combination and a half, ha..ha...

So, go and have yourself a good day, all day...and do some good deeds along the way.  Remember to stop in with a treat and a hug for a sick friend.   If you have someone in the hospital, go visit for a short while and brighten their day.   Good deeds stack up when you meet St. Peter at the gate....hopefully a long time away...smile.....I am off for a refill, feet up, news one, and do a lot of nothing for awhile.   Join me...ha.ha.   I'll share.   Hugs to all.

Now It is Thursday....all day!!

A pale blue sky, not a leaf stirring, shades drawn in the hospital wing, worker cars parked for the day...a new day with the sameness of a yesterday!!!  I am thinking it is going to be another hot one.  I had no plans to race about so that is a good thing.   I have a blog to do and nothing new or different to say.   Some days are like that and it is probably a good thing. 

Yesterday was a good day, all day, had things to do and being busy is always a good thing.   I helped Christine catch up with mailings, watched some television and stayed cool and calm on a very hot summer day.  The heat is up and doing a lot of nothing is a good thing.

The worker cars are parked facing my window this morning.   I see that folks are not putting up hanging bobbles in their windows these days.   Probably a good thing and less distracting while driving along the highways.   Quiet prevails, not a leaf stirring and you could hear a pin drop if you listened.  The bird is on the roof top and there is another bird not far from it.  I think they are ignoring each other.  The sun is on the tall trees and the leaves are a deep russet shade.  Fall is here, ready or not.    It is time to make your list and get the last of summer chores done.   It is a busy time and that is good.   I am off for a refill, coffee is good this morning.   There is 'nothing good in this house'; a famous cry when there are no big fattening jelly doughnuts around..smile!!!  So.....go.....have yourself a good day, all day, doing what you love to do best.    Hugs to all.

Good Morning!!!!

Good Morning!!!   How are you this morning?   I am almost awake, I am working on opening my eyes to the beauty of the fall colors over the hospital wing building across from me.  The little birds have come and gone.   There is not a bit of a breeze, nothing is moving and all of the workers are parked and in getting a new day started.  It is quiet, the silence of early morning, nice......even the lovely trees are still.  My coffee cup is half empty and my coffee is cold, so off I go for a refill ...be right back!!!

AAH!!!!  Coffee!!!!  The morning elixir that gets the body moving and the mind opening to new thoughts and deeds.   It is quiet, blinds on the hospital windows are not moving so the folks are sleeping in this morning.    Some of the workers are heading for their cars and home for some rest after their all night shift.   Some one has a new all white roadster , top down, ready for a new day...but if they have to work then it will be awhile before they can move it out and get in a ride with the top down.   The light grey car is back this morning, looking good and shiny new.   A couple of black cars, one a wagon, and room for several more who must be coming in later.   There are two tiny birds on the rooftop again, wonder if it is the same two that were there awhile ago.   It is quiet...silence.... the start of a brand new day.

So, get up, go out and make this day your own.    I am off for a refill, hunker down for awhile and watch the news.   A new day, no plans ...yet....smile.....I'll think of something.    Go.....have yourself a day to remember!!!

Tuesday, all day.....

Good Morning.   Some of the trees across the way are beginning to show some color just like this, although there is more green leaves right now but, give it a few days and it will change.   Fall is here, the colors become alive and bright on the bank of trees facing my window.   I enjoy the change of colors and the quietness of early morning.  Two tiny birds are sitting on the roof top across the way, looks like one is giving the other a word or two..smile.   The blinds are open in one of the hospital widows, others closed tight as folks sleep in for another hour or so.    A new day begins.   I wonder what is in store for all of us.  I have no special plans, rather choose a quiet day today and catch up with myself.  I have a 'good' book to read and a rocking chair to sit in ...so maybe later I will sit and rock and read...smile!!!

A new car in the lot this morning and it is what I think is called 'forest' green.  One of the lady workers is walking slowly in with her 'latte' in hand, or maybe just plain old coffee or tea.   My cup is empty so I am going for a refill....be right back.

And....I picked up a biscottie to go with it...yum.....good enough to go back for another one.  ..... later when I return to the kitchen...smile!!!

The stillness of the morning gives time to reminisce in the mind....about places to go, things to do and folks to share time with......good thoughts;  wonder if that bird on the roof top is thinking good thoughts as a pesky little bird sits beside it;  looks like a hearty conversation going on.  So...while they visit, I will return to my hot coffee and sip....finish my 'words' for the day and think about what and where and the where-for today...smile.    I hope you find peace, contentment and love today, all day....share YOU with those you love and even like.    Go...be YOU!!!
