Tuesday Morning

Good morning. The sun is shining on the tall trees and there is no wind at all this morning so all is still. The little bird is on the roof top and the worker cars are parked on my side so I am looking into parked car windows, four black cars and one white so far...the white one looks like a small wagon. The news is on and the woman's voice is grating. The faster she talks the more nasal she sounds. Maybe if I go refill my coffee cup I'll be more generous with my words...smile. AAH!!! Coffee, so good, hot and tasty. The trees are very tall and stately reaching into a very light baby blue sky. The sunshine is making the leaves come alive and quiet prevails. We have a new Tuesday to deal with. I wonder what this day will bring. I have no special plans as yet, but will plot and plan to get into some mischief before the day is over. A stop at the grocery store is always on the list as the cupboards are bare, not surprising as I manage to eat anything and everything that is not tacked down Right now the sun is shining on the roof top of the hospital wing. The little bird is sitting on the roof top over looking the world. The trees are still and the varied colors of green are amazing. Some have golden yellow leaves, some have deep green leaves and some are a mixture of both. The sky is baby blue, and the suns rays are making shadows on the side of the hospital building. There are two little birds over on the flowered bush, bet they are making a nest. I wish you a good day, all day, doing what you want to do....not have to do...smile!! So, enjoy your today!! Sunday Morning!!!

The sun is shining. The bird is on the roof top. The worker cars are parked and there is a new soft yellow truck out there this morning, a banana shade. The sun is shining on the bushes across the way and the little bird is feasting on a bird feeder. There is frost on the roof top and a new Sunday begins. I am in need of a coffee refill so will love you and leave you. Go...enjoy your coffee or whatever you choose for an eye opener. No rush, no fuss, at least for awhile. The quiet of a morning is really a blessing. My little plaque called the "Prayer of Serenity" is here on the desk: "God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change Courage to change the things I can and the wisdom to know the difference." Saturday Evening!!!

Hello!!! It has been a beautiful sunshine day and I was lucky to be out and about with my daughters and grand daughter for breakfast; always fun; always delicious; always a special treat with my 'fair ladies' Yep, I am lucky, blessed and have no complaints this morning...smile!! It was a day to go junking; we did make a few stops and we didn't find any treasures but had fun looking. I managed to find some books, so you know my bookcase is already loaded but one more book cannot hurt. Now to make time to read. The weather will be warming up and the rocking chair can go out on the porch and then I will have a hideaway for reading. The day itself was beautiful. Warm...sunshine...a slight breeze to move the tree leaves and the flowers seem to brighten in the sunshine. All in all, I had a good day, all day and cannot complain. ha..ha.....who would listen?? I have been reading most of the afternoon...a Clive Cussler book and he is good....so that is where I am heading, back for another chapter or two, before I turn on the television and get into one of the shows. My coffee is hot and tasty but there is nothing good in this house to go with it..... I'll be back tomorrow....sleep sweet, hugs to all.

Friday Morning

Good Morning!!! The sun is shining, the trees are still and the red rose bush across the way is shining in the sunlight. The bird is on the roof top and all of the worker cars are parked on my side this morning. Only one backed in....ha.ha. there is always one....I see a new light grey wagon out there this morning. The window has a lot of junk hanging, looks like a doll in a gold suit. Not a thing moving at the moment, all is quiet. We have a new day and it looks like a lovely sunshine day. My little vase looks lovely here on the desk even though it is empty. Not sure it needs anything but if I find some lovely little flowers I will put them in it. It is very quiet around here, amazing how many like to sleep in. My coffee cup is empty so I am going for a refill, hunker down in my chair, watch some news on the television and put my feet up for awhile. I have no plans so do not have to rush to put my shoes on. There is a new roadster in the lot this morning. It is white with a tan top,good looking and I bet gives a good ride. Each car is different, each a different color, and all look like they are new. The silver four door has more 'stuff' hanging in the window, something white and beady looking, looks a bit like a parrot. So, I have no new news for this morning. I am off to shower and dress for the day. There are no plans that I know of but I am always open to a suggestion or two. So.....make hay while the sun shines.....have some fun today; remember the old saying about all work and no play.....learn and live a little. Go.....Have yourself a day to remember!! hugs to all.

Thursday Evening

Hello. I had a short snooze in my chair, yes, I am getting to "that" stage of the game as I was out shopping or I should say 'looking' today and that requires a lot of stamina. My daughter Patricia and I went junking...for better word of looking for treasures that do not cost a lot of money and , of course, articles or items you just cannot live without. We have a shop here that we frequent and it is filled with treasures. Today I found a glass vase about six inches tall, cut glass, with flowers and leaf designs that is beautiful. I think it will be just the right size for the desk and now all it needs is flowers. I enjoy 'junking' and have such fun finding treasures that need a home....smile .....and I have little room for much more. I think each time we go 'junking' I find something to bring home and then have to find a place to put it. I think the vase has found its home as it sits right here on the desk and is a perfect size. It has what is known as a fluted edge, beautiful flowers and stems and is heavy, real cut glass. I would say I found a treasure..smile. So, now I have reached the limits for the desk as I have a small wooden angel holding 'the Prayer of Serenity" plaque, a glass floral holder filled with my pens and pencils. I have a small brown or tan vase that will have to go as it has lost its spot as I make room for a new beauty. The little bits of this and that which make our lives easier. I am smiling as I wonder how long before I think of something else to exchange...but...not for awhile. I have to give this a little time..smile. So today was a good day. The weather is perfect, not hot, not cold, just right. smile. Lunch out is always good and we know the right spots to frequent. I hope your day was a good one. I hope you found places to go and things to do that make you smile. I am off to my easy chair and catch up with some loose papers that need to be looked at and tossed. I may make a cup of hot tea and try hard not to have 'something good' to go with it. Have yourself a treat and then a good sleep so you stay healthy and happy. Wednesday Evening around six fifteen p.m.

Hello. No visitors today, been a quiet Wednesday .... all day .... smile. There is a breeze and the tree leaves are swaying; the short bushes and trees in front of the hospital building are very beautiful in the sunlight. Some are showing off with new leaves and one is a brilliant red and the wider bush has colored leaves on the top which are more on the orange blend of color while the tree, small and leafy is loaded with light green leaves. All look lovely this time of evening. The folks inside of the hospital wing have their shades open so they can enjoy them. The bird is up on the roof top, sitting quietly, hasn't moved in some time. The birds are nesting n the red bush and every now and then one wings its way across the road and flies by my window. It doesn't stop to say hello...or sit on my sill but it is more than welcome to... It has been a quiet Wednesday. No company this afternoon. I had been gone all morning as I had breakfast out with my girls and that is always fun. Both are busy today. I think Christine has a new young lady to train over at the Gallery. I didn't get over to see the new show but hope to before the week is over. I did get my doctor visit in and I fared well. I didn't hear what they said about weight and I didn't ask...smile!!! I am getting deaf, slowly and surely and some things one does not want to hear...ha.ha. I seem to be doing what I should be doing as he had no complaints. He did mention drinking more water....I have never been a good water drinker...coffee...tea...and water one in awhile...so I will have to try and change my ways and add more water to my diet. I guess we all need to do that as the bodies require it. So I will make a pact with myself and see what I can do about improving. There has been nothing on going here, so there is little news to add I work the big puzzle every lunch time upstairs with two other ladies and one gentleman. We are doing well but it really is a very slow puzzle. It is good though as it keeps us busy. There are three of us who are really working at it but every now and then another person will join but fizzes out after not finding a few pieces. It takes patience and not everyone is patient. ha..ha. So..that is my news for today. The weather is beautiful. The worker cars are new as I think there are three new ones out there this week; all in a grey shade; some with lots of windows, one on the roof the other boxed. All good looking and I am betting very expensive. What do cars cost these days? I doubt I'll ever own a car again but I have high hopes of riding in a new one now and then..smile. I hope you day was fun, good, filled with love and laughter. I hope you are feeling good and keeping up with your walking and exercising. I am waiting for the real good weather for walking as I manage a walk to the corner and back ..probably six blocks at most; but I can cross over where there is a park with walking places and a street that runs around a square block that would give me a good walk around the block... Easter Sunday

Good morning. A soft sky, little color this morning, trees are still, cars are parked on my side this morning and all is silent.....no one about, nothing moving, rose bush is bright and beautiful, the bird is on the rooftop and silence. Easter Sunday morning, I wish you a Happy Easter and hope you have some tasty eggs, both real and candy, to have for breakfast this morning. It is quiet, silence, if I didn't have the television on there would be silence. It is Easter Sunday morning and I have to admit I miss going to church and the special celebrations of the holidays. There are a life time of memories of Easters long gone, dressing the children up, heading off to church, Easter baskets, all those chocolate bunnies to eat, you know the 'non' fattening kind...ha.ha. if there was such a thing...but sugar prevails and is enjoyed fat or no fat...smile. I am looking out my window, soft skies, no breeze at all, worker cars of red, white and blue, all look new. The shades are down in several of the hospital windows but a couple are up and about. There is silence. No one moving in here...I am sure folks are up but staying 'put' for awhile. The little birds are nesting in the red rose bush which is all abloom and beautiful. They seem to choose a special cluster and hide in it. Once in the bush they seem to get lost from sight and hide until they are ready to take off again. I am dressed but no shoes on until I have to...ha.ha. barefoot is so comfortable!! Plans??? Nope...but am willing to make some. It will be interesting to see how the day shapes up.
