The weekend has come and gone. Spending time at the Gallery was really good and the folks who 'darkened our doors' were bright, beautiful and happy to share themselves with us. It is nice when 'they' come in the door, look around at all the good and great work the artists do and even better when they cannot leave without one of the master-pieces with them. There was a sale table set up and a few of the master-pieces found a new home. It was great to see Louie who stopped bye to say hello and invite us to visit his gallery. He seems happy and content to be in town and showing some really well done art pieces, not as a competitor but as another gallery to visit and enjoy the work of the talented folks of Port Orchard. We do have a lot of talent here.
So, the day went quickly, the left overs are in my refrigerator to be shared with those who stop in. Sharing is caring and always fun.
I am off to put my shoes on. I have high hopes of sharing time with my girls today. I'd bribe them with a lunch out date and sometimes that works...and sometimes it doesn't..smile!!! It does take effort when it is a Monday...the start of a new week, the start of finishing unfinished business which we swore we had already done...but did not!!! So check your list and decide what needs to be done and do it. Check off the list and smile when you see how short it becomes....until.....you add a few more new chores 'to do'!! Make it easy on yourself...one chore at a time...smile!!!! I'm smiling. I am wondering how I can skip out and do a lot of 'only what "I" want to do!!!!! Easy to say, but hard to do!!
