Sunday Afternoon!!!

The sky is grey; trees are still; worker cars all parked on my side of the tarmac; the little bird is on the roof top and there is a stillness; a quiet hovering over the entire driveway....no action right now..silence.....and the rain drops are starting to fall; been waiting for it to rain, it is in that start and stop phase ...then nothing. I'd like to see a good rain storm and get it over with; this putzing around gets old...smile. I had lunch...too much...now sorry...isn't that the way??? You go up for lunch and feel hungry; fill your plate; devour the food and then you wish you had not bothered.....too much?? no.....two little.....no; just a mix that should have stayed in the kitchen; and come to think of it, I should have stayed out of the kitchen as I really was not hungry for lunch time....a late breakfast was more than enough. It is starting to rain and that isn't all bad. I'd like to see it pour some good hard bouncing rain. Time will tell. It is quiet around here today. A lot of folks go off on a Sunday, some to church services of their choice; some to visit family and friends; some to go off shopping or visiting. Today, I am alone, quiet, have a good book going and feet will be up and I will be quiet...ssh!!! Have the rest of your Sunday to yourself doing what you want to do. Let the have to things wait for a work day...smile. It is going to rain here so tv on; a special movie; a cup of hot tea; or a cooler libation you enjoy; just relax and enjoy your Sunday afternoon. I may come back...or not...smile. Off ...feet up... quiet time....silence.....except for the television ..... enjoy your Sunday afternoon. Hugs to all.
